Safety Guidelines

SAFETY

•  Riders ride at their own risk, it is recommended that boots and hard hats be worn - especially by junior riders - FAILURE TO DO SO MAY INVALIDATE ANY INSURANCE CLAIMS.
• ALL children under age of 16 are to wear a helmet and their riding guardians/parents are responsible for their care at all times.
• State Emergency Services are in attendance on all trails.
• GPS locations and emergency medivac landing areas are recorded for all trails.
• Police supervision for all highway & other road crossing is provided.
• We suggest horses be shod, particularly those on the Kilkivan - Rossmore Carriage Trail and the Widgee - Hanging Rock Trail.

NOTE

If horse is deemed to be unfit before or during the ride, they may be withdrawn at Trail Bosses discretion.

DO'S & DON'TS

• Arrive Punctually. All trails start on time.  
• Do obey the trail bosses.  
• Do enjoy yourself & relax. 
• Do respect the rights of others.
• Don't bring dogs.
• Don't bring stallions.
• Don't bring a horse that's not fit. Vet checks of all horses may be made prior to commencement of all rides. Any further costs associated with this are at owner's expense.
