WIDGEE - HANGING ROCK TRAIL (30km)

Start: 7:30am "Thornside", Widgee.

Description: A trail of approx. 30km, that takes you along bush tracks and
into some pretty range country. Stop at "the top" for billy tea and damper. Lunch
can be purchased along the way at Kilkivan Bush Camping at Rossmore Park or BYO.
Camping, food and entertainment are available on Friday night.
TANSEY - BOONARA TRAIL (25km)
(Sponsor - Nolan Meats)
Start: 7:30am Tansey Showgrounds

Description: This trail takes in some wonderful scenery from the western
side of the shire. Approx. 25 km.
Camping, food and entertainment are available on Friday night.
WOOLOOGA - OLD COACH TRAIL (28km)
(Sponsor - Gympie Saddle World)
Start: 7:30am, "Turavale", Woolooga - Bauple Road.

Description: Ride an undulating trail of about 28 km. Enjoy billy tea for
smoko, and a BBQ lunch, or BYO.
Camping, food and entertainment are available on Friday night.
NOTE: An alternate trail is available if conditions are wet.
KILKIVAN - OAKVIEW CARRIAGE TRAIL

Description: This trail traverses quiet rural roads and bush tracks. It is recommended that horses are shod. Billy tea is
available at smoko and lunch.
This trail is for horse drawn vehicles only.
KILKIVAN-WONGELLA TRAIL
(Sponsor - Dan Sullivan Livestock & Kilkivan Bush Camping)
Start: 7.30am, opposite Kilkivan Showgrounds, Mudlo Rd, Kilkivan

Description: This trail will start from the Kilkivan Showground
at 7:30am SHARP. The ride takes riders through scenic hills to the west of Kilkivan. Morning tea and lunch available on this ride or BYO.
Distance approx 30 km.
Camping, food and entertainment are available at the Showground on Friday
night.
Pony Club Challenge and
Horse/Riding Club Challenge (not including Pony Clubs)
Trophy awarded for best conduct and presentation of club or group. Clubs
or groups need to register name prior to departure on the ride and club banner/flag to be
carried in Grand Parade
Presentation of trophies will be made at the Tom Grady Campfire Concert.
Food and drinks will be available on all trails, except the Carriage
Trail, or BYO.
Emergency drinking water is available from support vehicles, but please bring
a pannikin or mug. BYO water for use on the trail.
All nomination and indemnity forms to be signed
before participating. PLEASE NOTE:
There are no special water points for horses. All riders are asked to
water their horses as required from natural water holes on each trail. NO
alcohol allowed on the rides. PLEASE
NOTE: Stallions and/or dogs will NOT be allowed on any of the trails.
Horses are to be fit and if possible shod, and of healthy appearance. Riders ride at their own
risk. It is recommended that boots and hard hats be worn, especially by
junior riders. Failure to do so may invalidate any insurance claims.
